Living Death

Living Death

A Poem by Megan Kirby

I'm not afraid to die,
I've been dead for years...
I am the living, breathing death,
That of your deepest fears.

My life-clock just stopped ticking one day,
and though my death is only pain,
I'd rather linger here with her,
Than be taken away.
