Unthankful

Unthankful

A Poem by Megan Elizabeth

This is not something I asked for.

It only brings me pain

with everything to lose and nothing to gain.

It attatches to me like a magnet

I could get myself free

If it wasn't for he.

I'm not to blame,

because I sit in shame.

I need a place no one will ever hear my name.

They say give and get, but my gift I regret

I think of throwing it away

so I cannot repay whom ever

has cursed me.
