Johnny Cash Inspirer

A Poem by Megan Levinsky
"

A tribute to the man in black.

"

Johnny Cash Inspirer

Oh…. man in black…

Why have you walked the line?

Where you allowed the darkness to seep in your soul…

Oh I see you there, rotting in Folsom Prison

Head lay down in your internal rest

Man… God cut you down

What’s done in the dark will be brought to the light

Where you are forever in the ring of fire

Down, Down, Down

Oh, the flames get higher!

Oh! Where is your personal Jesus?

Someone who actually cares…
