Come Here Little Girl

Come Here Little Girl

A Poem by Kenzie Anne Winchester

Come here little girl

We can hold hands, I know you

Come here little girl

Your smile, so trustworthy and care free

Come here little girl

Such an innocent hug that lasts longer each time

Come here little girl

You want to give me special gifts, because I AM SPECIAL

Come here little girl

We giggle over ice cream and walks in the park

Come here little girl

We tell our little secrets, that we keep from mommy &daddy

Come here little girl

It’s ok because you and daddy are bestest friends, like me and Mr. Teddy

Come here little girl

You love me more than any other little friend; I feel comfort when you hold me

Come here little girl

You touch me because it’s what you’re supposed to do

Go away scary man

I don’t want to play with you anymore

Go away scary man

Please don’t take me away to a quiet place

Go away scary man

I don’t want to hear your secrets

Go away scary man

I really liked the progression of the poem. It wasn't too fast or too slow, it was just the right amount so that it made me gradually uncomfortable as I read to the end(which is what I think you were going for right?). Good job, I enjoyed it.

That certainly took a turn. I got a good eerie feeling from this piece. Be confident in your writing! (about your authors note)
