Without You

Without You

A Poem by MeganRuth

I’m tired of waiting

I’m sick of aching

I feel myself slowly breaking

Desperation;

it boils in my veins,

for your physical affection,

but I can’t break these chains.

Distance is The Devil,

he laughs at our grief,

but he will never revel

from being a love-thief.

He will not succeed

at tearing us apart.

Maybe he has in body,

but you still have my heart.

I must keep calm,

I must keep sane,

no matter how much it hurts,

I must endure this pain.

Because, if I loose hope,

I will lose you,

that’s no lie.

I don’t know how I’d cope

in fact, without you,

I would die.

No , without him you won`t die.
You may cry some , but you will fall in
love again and it may be even worse the next time.
You are an exceptional poet....you write brilliiantly .
Keep your chin up---- this too shall pass.
