Save your last breath for MeA Poem by megalOmaniacA poem I wrote to convey these images in my head..
Through the darkness she ran, into darkness..
Stumbling through the vines, talons claw into her white skin.. Yet she runs, afraid to turn back.. A blur of desperation and black.. She runs and she runs, vile nothingness pushing her back Ripping at her robes.. Ghostly whispers of the wind try to enter her mind.. Fear in her dark eyes, cold sweat upon her brow.. Her eyes pierce through the darkness, Yet darkness is all she sees.. From somewhere far behind her, her beloved pleads, Save your last breath for me... Pain wrenches at her as she turns her stunned eyes, unstopping.. A moment too soon, the arrow pierces her heart violently beating.. Still as death, amidst the darkness she stops, watching red stain black.. A step back, into silence before she falls upon the bottomless ground, Darkness gathering, closing in around.. Upon her last sigh, his face she sees.. Save your last breath for me.. © 2010 megalOmaniac |

I'm not exactly bubbly and I certainly am NOT a social butterfly. I prefer to keep to myself, in this perfect world that exists.. more..Writing
