Struggle

Struggle

A Poem by megalOmaniac
"

I was inspired by a sonnet by Shakespeare, in which he asks a young man if he would rather die alone, or lose his freedom and carelessness, and marry, to be a father. Only this one talks to a woman.

"
Time, flowing like a river,
Never to come back again,
Now may be the only time,
Forget your youth, take on the pain.
Now is your time to choose,
To tip the scales one side and lose the other.
Would you rather live alone or lose,
Would you rather die a mother?

About
Like so many other people, I, too am looking for a place where I belong. I'm not exactly bubbly and I certainly am NOT a social butterfly. I prefer to keep to myself, in this perfect world that exists.. more..
