Glow

What I see when i look into his eyes..

Sparks of colour, shimmer and blur,

Hearts as bright as magic.

Halos that reach out like loving fingers,

Caressing the gloom.

 

Cores of light that spill into dark,

Dark that flows into black,

Smudge the place that they collide,

All is now one.

 

Blind as all but seeing,

Groping, feeling, calling,

For the shimmer in the night

That reaches back to touch me.

 

Twin mirrors that I scry within,

Looking for myself,

Finding colours that define

What all but you can see.

 

While you drown in depthless pools of me,

While in you I look for the person I could be,

I find in my eyes, the ones that lie within yours,

A stranger smiles in glee.
