Lions of Judah

Lions of Judah

A Poem by winter;lyra

weep not
behold
from the crown tomb of Abraham
ingrained gospels
and one refrained ramadan
in earth invested
these truths of heaven

enter the lions of Judah
stampede out those unforeign heathens
off the land of David
so that his star may burn unquestioned
lone victorious star, moonless
ruthless
truthless

earthly lords
of blood seeped land
in which they procure heaven
do find naught
but war and then blasphemy
