The Grand Inquisitor: Reprise

The Grand Inquisitor: Reprise

A Poem by winter;lyra

pardoned ghosts
all these fiery boats
rationed bowls
for he who was and still is
in that image erect
out his tomb and fumes
with clues of eternity
for he his eternal
in all that we are infirm
as in after the fact, after the pact
for that heavenly bread
which in nothing is earthly
but everything before and after is

so it is to thee and not he
earthly, pagan, profane and perverse gods
that I offer this fiery boat
so that we earthly, pagan, profane and perverse sinners may live before we die and not after
