i take lead for pillsA Poem by winter;lyra
red blood up my seams
upstream, where the beat rocks with my greed shock storm police i take lead for pills she's just a piece leaned in too pristine for my people this prison is like home and this wound is not deep enough i need a weapon, a sword, a knife something sworn to my life that i can use to pacify a paraphrased paradise this is your demise, not mine, i'm fine quite alive, rather, in my prime there's not even a curse or something loud alight but wait, is it still paradise if it's drenched in red? yes if if i gouge my eyes out first © 2017 winter;lyra |
