is anyone there?

is anyone there?

A Poem by winter;lyra

Do I fall asleep
If the night fails to fall
And the sky remains flat blue
Do I stay awake
Forever in my bed
Here by myself
Stuck in my twisted mind

In my dream
The moon came down
And devoured
All the nightmares
Then it rose and it found it's place among the stars
Oh no I think I miss the face of my lover
Oh I miss my dreams and my nightmares
And
It feels like my bed is shrinking
And I feel like I'm running out of time
And I don't know what to do anymore
Is anyone there?

This is deep and has allot of feeling and emotion to it.
I to can relate as William says, some of us do have trouble sleeping as so many thoughts go through our brains, sometimes we cant shout them off.
I enjoyed this read, keep writing :)

I like how you used unrealistic imagery in this piece ... it reflects the "nightmare" theme expressed in this piece. I could relate to this poem because I have all sorts of thoughts at night. At night, when I can't sleep, I often look at the moon and stars and just let my mind wonder. I think you created that feeling very well in this piece. Thanks for sharing.
