Spring, warmth, and sunshine

Spring, warmth, and sunshine

A Poem by winter;lyra
"

I tried.

"
Oh core and forge
Fuse and blaze aloud
It is time to sing
These songs of spring
Open the doors
Welcome that sunshine!
Into our souls!
That warmth will
Surely
Guide us
Towards
A better day
Of better clouds and better thoughts

Of darker clouds
Of realistic thoughts
My world is darkness
And my God is the devil
He takes the pen at midday
To midnight
To leave me lost
At dawn
"Here take a look at paradise"
"Learn how to fall"
"And I'll show you love"

And look
He tells me that
I'm a death in reverse
A life in recurse
A curse at its source
And he grabs my pen
He writes these words

As we dance around the bonfire

And I think
It is time
For sleep
Find me
Wherever I may be
In the morning

A very good effort Winter. I really liked the beginning verses, full of positive imagery and life. Quite a contrast with the devil god and dark clouds. You have a writers imagination and a good vocabulary. Keep writing, for that is how we all grow in this noble art.
