Thoughts of glass

Thoughts of glass

A Poem by winter;lyra

Destiny
Humanities
Games of filosofies
All seems to rush indiscriminately
Towards a future made of glass
Perhaps the masses would learn from the past
If the fear of breaking glass
Were not so hard to repress

My words
These words
Are not mine
They're probably our words
However they reach my ears
Easily
For I do not posses the
Masses' squealing reasoning

Yet who am I
With no life, to
Provide
Insight on this fight
-These cries
-Lies in disguise
Yes! Teach me how to bind
On the inside
On the outside

My mind is alive
Help me kill it
Grab the bible
I'll grab the silence

Wait.
Perhaps...

Such a lapse
To think I'd let myself...
Seduced by this song
-Those rhymes
-Their laughs in disguise
No! You will not bind my mind and blind it
I'll repeat these rhymes
Until time finds its way to line me up the morgue

Mark these words
I won't allow the stars to collide
