Blessed Rain

Blessed Rain

A Poem by winter;lyra

O blessed rain!
O slayer of ten thousand gods and dragons!

O!

Wash me downstream
And wake me up
From this dream!

O salted water!
Bleach my soul
From all thoughts and colors
Unleash my soul
From all joy and pride

O!

Bless these rivers with your love!

O!

Ruthlessly you've answered my call...
This lone wolf longs slumber
Allow no light to trespass those clouds
Firmly shut we celebrate the age of darkness
Silently laid we watch the fall of Men
By she who lays in darkness
By she who calls the rain

O! Blessed rain!
Ruthless and violent is your love!
