The Journey Of The Wise Man IV

The wise man
Came across a land
Of blazing sunlight
And of the greenest fields

The wise man
Saw across this land
The brave man carrying a sword
A sword ten times bigger than him

The brave man
Carried the enormous sword
With nothing but his willpower
Leaving the wise man at a loss of words

The wise man, so lost
Sang the words he knew
And the words he stole from god
But this brave man ignored his words and passed right through him

The wise man considered
What could be inside this man's soul
To make him immune to his songs
Which made even the wise god lose his sanity

The wise man noticed
The more he pulled
The hotter the sunlight became
The wise man saw the smile on the brave man's face

The wise man considered, wise as he is
One day these fields will burn from the blazing sunlight
Along with the brave man's smile
But the brave man already knew

The wise man felt perplexed and curious
However he could not handle the heat
So he kept travelling
