The Journey Of The Wise Man IIA Poem by winter;lyraEXPERIMENTALThe wise man
Travelled across the seas On his two feet And the wisdom he stole from god The wise man found love But love was too abstract And so was his heart So he kept travelling The wise man found hope But hope was also abstract And so are words So he kept travelling The wise man found happiness But happiness seemed false And so seemed the smiles So he kept travelling The wise man found religion But he saw in religion The same things he saw in love, hope, and happiness So he kept travelling The wise man found richness But richness could not be trusted Because richness drew the untrustworthy So he kept travelling The wise man Felt bored and lost But he kept travelling © 2015 winter;lyraFeatured Review
