lone voices

lone voices

A Poem by winter;lyra

Who are you now?
And who were you then?
Don't look at me!
Such brightness would blind you
Seek further down the road
There's a lost soul ready to embrace you
Would you really die for her?
What are you living for?
Have you forgotten me?
Is it that easy?
Being that empty?
Having nothing to conclude and nothing to succumb to
You've truly become what we feared
But why have you come to me?
Why do I still exist?
Who are you?
Who am I?
What have you done to me?
Stop!
These eyes are not my eyes!
Who are these people?
Wait for me
Where have you gone?
Don't leave me alone!
Honestly, those words were nothing but words
You know who I truly am
You worry too much about reality!
And remember reality is relative
And remember relativity is what pulled us through
So let's start anew
For I am not ready to carry this responsibility
Let me back in!
Do you hear me?
Do you hear me...
I can not survive out here...
