DisappointmentA Poem by Tamika FinleyWhen you knock.. I won't be there to answer.. And I'm not sorry to say that I'm not sorry.. But you just don't exist to me any more.. You can't hang hopes, dreams, fear over me.. Not any more at least.. I allowed you to destroy many things.. The time has come for a plot twist.. I now realized how I want to go about life and it's not like this.. I have decided to crush you where you stand.. For you ruining life so slowly is something I can't just stand.. Along with you, I've chosen your friend expectations needs damaging.. Because if you expect nothing.. There will be none disappointing.
