Disappointment

When you knock..

I won't be there to answer..

And I'm not sorry to say that I'm not sorry..

But you just don't exist to me any more..

You can't hang hopes, dreams, fear over me..

Not any more at least..

I allowed you to destroy many things..

The time has come for a plot twist..

I now realized how I want to go about life and it's not like this..

I have decided to crush you where you stand..

For you ruining life so slowly is something I can't just stand..

Along with you, I've chosen your friend expectations needs damaging..

Because if you expect nothing..

There will be none disappointing.

yeah! it sound legendary! we are human! we are fools. but this is one of those things that we tried to get all our life... but we never accomplish this!
everything we do we have little expectation from that

I do understand. I sometimes look at the opposing side and write from there just to have a different way of thinking, yielding a different way of writing. But yeah, I wrote this back in August and I have still been disappointed on different occasions since then because, even though I know the only way to never be disappointment is to stop expecting, this is how we've lived our lives for so long. It's hard to break the habit. Thanks for reading and reviewing
