Truth as often told Always comes without mold Never wanting to be bought nor sold It Wears no mask Always up to the task....
With arm outstretched It hides nothing Seeking something Telling everything It exposes lies Never had ties with deceit Wouldn't compete for power yet its presence make the enemy cower
thanks Zainul, it pleases me to know that you like it, I went through your writing and am yet to pick my favorite. thanks for the invite, i really appreciate.
thank you Sarah...i find your take interesting. even though truth is subjective there are generally accepted truth, such as the rising of the sun and its setting, the different season. however, in my country, there are so many untruths that we have been made to believe as the truth, i sometimes wonder if most have been taken to the lab to have their brain reset.
Also forgive my typos everyone as Sarah rightly put. i blame it on the rush of getting my words unto paper while it is still in my head.
To write about "truth" is such a difficult thing. For what is truth, really? We each have our own "truthes", and there are those who will do sinister things in the name of "truth" and "justice"...so it is subjective. This is your view on truth, which I happen to agree with.
Technically:
4th line: "Wears" need not be capitalized
6th line: Might be better to use "arms" rather than "arm", or if you want singular, use "hand"
Last line: "yet its prescence make(s) the enemy cower"
