Charity Case

Charity Case

A Poem by MediocreMemory

He sits alone, watching them build up their false hopes and dreams with disdain.
How he pities these fools who leech the mortality from the good and willing.
Will they ever forge their own path, alone?
Will they ever repay the debts they continually increase?
They beg for mercy from those of greater values and look down on those who do not give.
