Soft memories sing a lullaby of reasurance to my clouded heart

Days gone long by embrace me now

Rememberances occur while I lie under the sting of the hot sun

A bright smiling face filters through despair in my mind

Your gentle touch, velvet on my sandpaper skin

Your angel's voice, always holding even a hint of laughter

 

The first meeting fills my mind

Overflowing stores, people crushing us together

The first time I looked into those bright jade eyes

Even at a mere fast food resturant,

Our times which overlapped, were never bland
