On the ContraryA Poem by N3v3r_2_L@t3Words are nothing. Its the thought that counts."I'm sorry we can't be together"
Can you not hear the high pitch shattering of my heart?
"I know she means alot to you."
So this cross I bear on my back makes her look like an angel.
"I guess it wasn't meant to be."
We were meant for each other
"Yeah, I'll give him a try, I know he really like me."
My heart yearns for your gentle touch. You are the only one for me.
"This doesn't change anything between us."
I will never see the same gentle blue eyes the same
"You and her are perfect for each other."
But somehow my face pops up in my hazy mind, when I picture you with someone.
"No, I don't hate you."
On the contrary, I love you. © 2008 N3v3r_2_L@t3Author's Note
