My Forever

This is based on an event that occured yesterday between me and my now ex boyfriend...He's such a butt hole

Tranquil darkness engulfs my soul

I'm spiraling into oblivion, holding onto your hand

you push me down, farther into my fears

as blood drips down the crease of my broken heart

my hands shaking, my heart racing

You pray for the soul

you helped deliver to darkness

 

Regrets cloud my hazy mind

nights long ago

hands held together, hands I never wanted to part

but here we are now,

you actually listened to your heart

I never thought it would come to this

when our stronghold was attacked by lies and deceits

 

I thought we would hold through it all

but here we are now

We're falling apart

You tried to save me, tried to take me back

let me tell you, it doesn't work like that

When you listen to lies, and question me

Back together? Yeah, we'll see

 

Tomorrow was supoused to be our day

together forever, standing tall

above the line of love and hate

the one I crossed long ago

unfortunately, you stayed on the other side

and the skeletons in your closet, came back to life

 

So what now?

What will it take?

Will you leave me alone, and face your fate?

I accepted you, and praised your name

while everyone else, looked down at you, scowling

I stood up for you, when you were down

Face planted in the dirt, smudges all around

 

But I'll leave it alone, if you wish it so

I guess this was my forever
