slo-mo splash down

slo-mo splash down

A Poem by Tim Lion

moan through

a wall throws a switch

in my guts.

 gun appears

in a shaky hand.

boot takes wing.

rubber on wood.

world explodes

starting with this room.

sonata of screams.

palpitation drum fill.

red confetti storm.

sirens! sirens!

we all fall out.

psychotropic Tang,

round-ended scissors.

I get to pet the tree

In the courtyard

some Sundays.

I used to soar

above skyscrapers.

now,

everything

seems underwater.

I once knew a friend that between his diabetes and cocaine issues, ended up thinking aliens were in a tree and would shoot lightning bolts up your as*.... seriously.

I abuse nothing but my sensibilities and experience days like this all the time. That's why I live on a mountain. If you are sensitive to altitude, ..... you better stop now.

psychotropic tang indeed. word.

About
Sometimes, when the moon presses her naked chest to my window, and my wife is carving the value from trash scraps, I feel like I may never be able to outshine my finite timeline. And the worst part is.. more..
