slip

slip

A Poem by Tim Lion

slip

I’m somewhat sorry.

I tigered when I should have lambed.

those teeth marks on your soul’s shoulder

were meant for a different sometimes.

if you’ll cage that dragon in your throat,

I’ll retract my claws,

and we finish our dance.

Teehee this did make me smile. You do have a great creativity about you. The open admission of submission, dominance, those intense moments before the calm passes down. All in an unspoken blink of an eye

this takes me to the sweet, first meet of a relationship, fast forwarded looking onto the nasty remains at the near close, then a skip back to enjoy the meet. Epic write.

About
Sometimes, when the moon presses her naked chest to my window, and my wife is carving the value from trash scraps, I feel like I may never be able to outshine my finite timeline. And the worst part is.. more..
