Call to Rise (Lyrics)

Call to Rise (Lyrics)

A Poem by Michael (Letters and Lifelines)

Everyone,
For a different reason,
Will come around,
And give a listen.
If you’re here,
Please take a chance tonight,
Even if your hope is gone.

Everyone’s,
Looking for a lifeline.
A little help,
To escape the hard times.
If you’re hurt,
And you’re feeling scared tonight,
I can help you carry on.

Take the fear,
And the pain within you,
As the start,
Of something brand new.
I am here,
If you’re all alone tonight.
Just believe you’ll be alright.

Just hold on,
And stay strong.
I’m with you,
Beside you.

Just keep hold,
Don’t let go.
I’m with you,
I’m scared, too.

I know how,
You feel now.
I’ve been here.
I’m still here.

I’m right here,
To help you.
We’ll fight through,
Again.

Everyone,
Will come and listen,
To the sound,
Of a new religion.
If you’re lost,
Come find your way tonight,
Even if your faith is gone.

Everyone,
Needs some consolation.
A little help,
To find salvation.
If your eyes,
Can’t stop the tears tonight,
I can help you carry on.

Leave your doubts,
And your hesitations.
Cry aloud,
All your expectations.
I will stay,
To hear them all tonight.
Just await the morning light.

Just hold on,
And stay strong.
I’m with you,
Beside you.

Just keep hold,
Don’t let go.
I’m with you.
I’m scared, too.

I know how,
You feel now.
I’ve been here.
I’m still here.

I’m right here,
To help you.
We’ll fight through,
Again.

Comforting. Reassuring voice. Familiar, yet a bit more equipped. A bit stronger. The support you need. I like this. I assume this would sound very lovely sang & played.

Well done.

You are welcome. ....::::))))
How amazing it is to provide so much inspiration with just a few lines... just a few words... Wow.. it was kinda a great lyrics I have read till today. I found a lot of philosophies as well as inspiring words... An unspoken heart speaking everything... The rhythm just flows all around the piece... great job!!!

That was simply amazing... I think my favorite part was when you said this:

Just keep hold,
Don’t let go.
I’m with you,
I’m scared, too.

I know how,
You feel now.
I’ve been here.
I’m still here.

I don't know; I just resonated with that part because it felt so beautiful. There's always someone who understands your pain and it's blissful when you finally find that person... Amazing work!

Aw, that made me miss listening to Simple Plan! I loved this, definitely the kind of music I'd listen to. I feel rather speechless actually at how well put together that felt. I'm curious, do you plan on posting more songs of yours? If so I'd love to hear them! Can't wait until you get a CD out :)

This is such a beautiful poem. Shows how this person will be there for another unconditionally and knows how they feel when they are in a predicament. Very good.

Your welcome :)
This was beautiful. The visual of the words soothed me. You can tell how you truly care in your words.
'I know how
you feel now
I've been here
I'm still here'

That resonates.
