Can I lay here now...

So I can close my eyes.

All is quiet now...

I can hear,

Shaking breath,

And a trickling tear.

I can see it now...

Growing lights,

From faithful stars.

The night is clear.

Fear or love - 

My heart's still throbbing,

And I'm not sure why.

Small and lonely fires,

Will soon burn out,

But mine will never die.

Can you stay,

Until it's over?

I'm scared,
