I just want to feel alive again

Before our time is up

And it's too late.

Just like living inside a dream

In those final moments

Before you wake.

I'm scared as hell.

But I'm ready now.

Even if you see no end in sight

Don't just kneel before your doubt.

Embrace your hidden pain,

And believe tonight

You'll be alright.

Just see...

I'm here.

Alone.

I'm ready

To make this life our own.

If you feel the slightest hint of love

Please find a way

To let me know.

Gather all the things you thought were dead

And use your touch

To make them grow.

I have this need

I can't ignore

Like a void inside my soul.

If you fall and can't go on

I'll lay by your side

To make you whole

And say this all.

Just see...

I'm here.

To make this life our own.

All the children who were young with us

Left with lessons

They thought they learned.

I lost myself in trails they left behind

I felt the vicious pain

And I returned.

Just stay the same

Don't ever change

Even if your faith just fades with time.

If everything you love just falls away.

Keep me in your mind

And don't resign.

You'll still be mine.
