Nature

Nature

A Poem by Mattox

Dripping slowly,
My destination is down a hole,
but I am not a rabbit so this is not home.
I am falling and taking shape,
This tunnel is never ending,
Feeling my destination is near, I feel lost,
trickling down, down, down...
My companions are the same as I,
Just following after me as we all think in a process,
as we are processed.
To be fair, I am put to good use, as I am recycled with the earth.
Over and out, poured through a spout or filter,
I am your biggest desire, I keep you living,
Do you know my name or just my purpose,
I am more important than you could imagine,
I am a mass that is immense to much to fathom..
Drink me in for I am free, a gift to you, from me.
Swim in me, take me in, I love you, call me by name,
nature.
