I have changed the whole poem. Please let me know what you think. It's the first poem in the collection of poems of how Mary experiences the "salvation" story

Well, as you know i "dont do religion", but it doesnt mean i totally disregard religion or have contempt for it, i just don't have that in me to have that amount of belief. so, what about a little more comment and a little less rambling i hear you say...
I see the beauty and wonder of your write, the knowing of a decision that will be life changing and almost too much for one person to decide. if you look at this from another view, this is about all of us. we all have these impossible decisions to make throughout our lives and they build us into who we all become, the same as mary.
Whatever way you read this, there is hope in there for all to see, and being positive about life is never a bad thing.
I really enjoyed this and wont be offended if my ramble is deleted. :-)
Great write.
hello distant, I just saw your review and I thank you for it! My "mary" poems are not about preachi.. read morehello distant, I just saw your review and I thank you for it! My "mary" poems are not about preaching any kind of gospel, but I believe the person of mary is a kind of archetype of "everywoman," at least that is how I try to represent her in my poems. I especially welcome reviews from those who don't "do" religion, because your reviews keep me on track. again, thank you!
Here I am again. I love the Annunciation, the story and the way it's been portrayed in paintings. The poem's nice and short because I guess that's how it must have been--yes or no. I love the last part--ending the poem with her story beginning.
I love how this shows that Mary could been confused, perturbed and yet still trusting in God. And how you show that her life truly began when she became the mother of Jesus, without the will of God, she'd have been nothing.
Your poems are unique and also important in my opinion. Awareness is always good and these certainly will reach many that otherwise might miss out. I say good job!

Another good poem from Mary, well written with a consistent well thought theme, good writing.Mary works very carefully on the subject of religion, is artistically consistent.
I am total geek, optimist, hopeless romantic child of God. I love poetry! I was a high school science teacher for many years, but at the present time I work as a math tutor at a local community coll.. more..
