A Poem by Randy Mckenica -writers write
"

On my return, I decided to add something here- same sentiments, different era.

"

An after word to my resolutions, else

Broad strokes of introspection:

Chanced camaraderie has oft been

Dismissed due less to one's

Exile -than a tendency of

Fraudulence in bravado and

Gaucheness in disregard      (note this well)

Hermitage is a twisted acknowledgement that

"I have been forgotten".

Justice is a place with

Kindred spirits, where powerful minds ignite- then get

Lost in the sauce.

Misbegotten intentions and

Narrowed focus will leave one

Opinionated beyond a writer's realm to be and

Petulant in assuredness.      (but if not certain?)

Questioning and introspection without tangible

Results is a feedback loop which

Stunts any novel insights.    (and?)

This tends, at last, to leave one

Unheralded, unheeded and

Vexed by the ultimate endgame.

Why's and where's lose value in

Xeric quest for a diamond in a sand dune

Yearning not for the glory, but merely to exceed

Zero

*clap clap clap clap" Bravo!!!! I think this is the best alphabet poem I've ever read. I didn't pick up on it till the X word, lol... since they are so seldom used it caught my eye! That there's a testament to your piece... not noticing is the best part.

There's such a loneliness abound here.... so many crushing lines that made me feel; piercing they are.

Hermitage is a twisted acknowledgement that
"I have been forgotten".

Wow... What a write. Liked very much the justice definition. Though you are not yearning for glory but it's indeed a great work

This is wonderful and clever. Maybe not new feelings but a perhaps a rebirth. I think I like
Justice is a space with Kindred spirits where powerful minds ignite - then get Lost in the sauce.... Deep and kissed with humor or just the admission of one can lead but.... perhaps who will follow....
Welcome back sweet friend....and writer's writer.....

Love, Kath
