The mirror’s secrets

My short fiction story is about a religious family who have a son who is "Different" and they decide to send there son away for a little wile , and well to know the rest you'll have to keep reading 😀

All my life “I was a mystery, a shadowed figure reaching out for light. My family never understood why I acted the way I did, the church would forbid our family to enter the house of the lord. And as I reached my early teens, I was exspected to be the animal everyone saw me as. “Alex my dad shouted from the living room, I woke up terrified as he shouted again with a visions tone. So I rushed down my narrow stair’s Hoping for the best, and standing right in front of me was “Mr Murray, “Mr murray, was the psychiatrist doctor for the community, now I was wondering to myself why would a psychiatrist doctor be in my house, in my kitchen. Everybody was silent until mum spoke, ‘Alex we thought it would be a good idea if you went with “Dr Murray for a little while. Without saying a word I gave her a smile which was fake as her love for me, at the side of my eye I saw my brown and black suitcase already to go, sitting on our pale white couch, and the next thing I remember is waking up in a dark damp so called room. I had bandages around my wrist which were to sore to touch. A couple of weeks had past I was a completely different person but not in a good way, every night I cried myself to sleep, everyday was a bonus if I didn’t get the electric shock, everybody thought I was getting better, but I was actually getting destroyed, I couldn’t bare it anymore. “I was their puppet on a string, I couldn’t help that I was different. I was going to end the pain. Until my reflection In the half shattered mirror showed me the future I could have, it was incredible I had long brown curly hair, baby pink nails, with a hint of purple on my index finger, silver hoop earrings and a beautiful yellow spring dress. “I felt happy, I felt like me.
