I WonderA Story by SenecaXXIVAnthology of Hundred-Word Stories: Story 3It
was summer. I was walking home from my in-company training, the night breeze soothing
my tiredness as I trudged along the footbridge. My interest was caught by a
homeless old man sleeping on one side of the bridge. His bed was the cold
cemented floor. His blanket was the dirty, polluted air. His bedside lamp was
the lights of the nearby establishments. And the honking of cars was his
lullaby. An insane thought crossed my mind: I wanted to try it too. Yet, I continued walking home and got a good night sleep with the comfort of my bed. © 2017 SenecaXXIVReviews
