What Chance

What Chance

A Story by SenecaXXIV
"

Anthology of Hundred-Word Stories: Story 2

"

It was break time. I finished copying notes from the green board.

“He is wondering if you will give him a chance.”

I looked behind me. He wasn’t there with them. I looked around and found him on the other side of the room, talking with another girl.

Chance.

“He said, he will wait for your answer this afternoon.”

I looked at his messenger and gave him a blank look. The messenger stood and left.

What chance was he asking for?

Afternoon came and went. They never showed in class.

Chance. Shall it be given anytime? I never found out.

Chance should be given to deserving ones. Yet forgiveness should be given to those who sinned against us. You can forgive him but it is up to you if you will still give him a chance after what he has shown.

I have your three short stories but I have chosen to comment in this one. Nice idea to have an anthology of short stories with 100 words like this. Keep writing, Kabayan!
