The Ghost of You

The Ghost of You

A Poem by McKilla
"

First poem!I thought of it after hearing footsteps in the attic when no one was there.and watching discovery channel.

"

I heard the attic door close ever so gently

and footsteps so soft.

The ghost of my loved one haunts me so lonely,

and the touch of her hand, so cold.

Shadows of the past came back into memory,

and regret forever imprinted on my mind.

Now i remember that dark night,

that night i wished never happened to you.

And now you stand before me,

struck me to my heart,

and my blood across the floor,

beneath my attic door.

Oh how i regret losing you,

after that tragedy that has happened.

The rest of my life

haunted

by the ghost of you.
