On Raven's wings we hover between the realm of earth, and others Treasured memories in life entrusted Your concern... our facts may arrive mistrusted? ~ Not ever ~ We are Raven We watch... we listen... we know... we fly and if you should need to ask We never lie ~~~
I've always related to ravens as the native american totem for knowing, speaking up, & insight . . . or some call them messengers, sometimes between life & afterlife . . . these are all the things your poem conjures in my thought flight. I believe there are realms we can't touch without some messenger to join us on our journey . . . why not invite raven? Love the barely-there whimsical quality of your poem, which reflects the way such knowingness can flit around in a ephemeral way (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

The poem reflects ancient Druid beliefs but Ravens seem to play a role in many cultures
Ravens, associated with prophecy and insight. Some think they are a bad omen. They are an intelligent bird, and I respect them. They are mysterious and somewhat intimidating in appearance. If they cross my path, I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. Too closely linked to death for my liking and old wives tales. Good read, you took me on quite a journey.
