Sneak’n In

Sneak’n In

A Poem by McEltic

The house was dark and silent
out late one Friday night

Tiptoed in
shut the door
Thank god the dog stayed quiet

Crept the stairs
shoes in hand

A key dropped... with a ring

Saw my wife
one flight above
Doing
the same damn thing
~~~
'Sneak'n in'
McEltic,
Everything here is well known. Hard to be silent and quiet when living out loud is the reality. This household is sharing secrets way to well or should I say not well eneough. I suppose this is a story with a funny twist and you surly did just that!
Blessings,
Kathy
She dropped the key on purpose, just to rub it in :)
jajajajaja! This is rich! love the tension and absurdity of it. Nicely constructed, very well done! It was a good read and a pleasant laugh!
