Heart-lightA Poem by McElticFor those we miss
~~~
Wait silently by the water's edge this evening feel the sand slipping away beneath your toes a lapping warmth of rising tide at your ankles Senses detecting a familiarity carried in from across the waves A feathered breeze caresses your cheek Its fingers gently tousle your hair Its breath finds the trail of a lonely tear slowly faintly drying to its touch You're feeling a kiss from those you miss These feelings returned in trust of the rising moon Find heart-light aglow at their source ~~~ © 2018 McElticReviews
