My eyes on the pavement

My eyes on the pavement

A Poem by Vusi

Sanity can drive a man crazy
So does love
I guess I don't need an explanation
for the way u turned ur back on me.
You seemed to be doing well,
I never recovered.
You blindly fell for him,
Then you came back crawling after he hurt
you.
I caught you, helped pick up the pieces and
bits of what was left of your heart.
I showed you sympathy and helped mend it.
He may be gone but is has been forgotten.
I was an idiot, for believing you when you told
me you loved me.
I fell for you
I made you my world, sun and the moon.
You never got over him, I never got over you.
It's sad, a true tragedy.

You never know whats going to come into your life and ow the story of it will be shaped. but, there is hope, where there is awareness then there lies amongst it strength. pulled together, the next onegonna be impressed to a different level.
