WE

A country where leaders care about their positions more than the people they lead

WE
We are starving
And suffering
The repercussions of the leaders
We are in a position
Of no possessions
Suffering the tribulations of toxic life
And unfortunately;
We have no decision

We take all the impositions addressed to us
Yet we still disagree with demonstration
We bare the humiliation
Of having no position
Among all nations
Yet we are contented
With having no possessions
Why;
Because it's now our tradition

Leaders blinded by over taking
The opposition side
With their concentration
And perception
Focused on remaining in their positions
Fail to see that we need protection
From the persecution of the situation

It's okay not to have possessions
Because they are not in our consideration
But all we need is construction
Of a new organization
We don't need perfection
But to flee from deception
Because we have had enough depression
And all we need if to repair the perforations

You know this has a familiar feel about it. We might not be starving, there are certainly some rich people in the UK, there are also many in poverty and we have a homeless situation. I could say that our leaders care more about their position than the people they represent. It seems to me these days that politicians ain't what they used to be. Now your situation is probably because of real corruption. I think it is a travesty of justice that people in your country are without the basic essentials. You aren't asking for much. Just enough to get by. Enough so that you are fed. That makes me so upset that your leaders can't offer you that. Thank you for sharing your poetry.

Thanks for the review, I had to use irony in this whole poem in some areas, it's not that people are actually starving but they going through situations that are similar to that
