Seeing through changing colors

Seeing through changing colors

A Poem by Mae Taylor

Liquid clear and clean

Shining beautifully light

Reflects clear blue night.

The sky turns Gray, then

Liquid lead comes out to play

The color re-creates.

The tone shifts brighter

A loving gaze takes turn

Sea Foam green performs.

All these colors seen

Through one liquid's reflections

This brackish water.

Agony anger.

Bittersweet sorrow, and glee

Make this liquid flow.

Nature is living poetry so few can capture it's beauty in word or verse as you have in your unique style. I would like to offer some critiques. I would refrain from repeating words like clear and also use more definitive words like purified in place of cleans. Thus...Liquid transparency purifies/Shining beauty/Reflects true blue night. Come by and critique some of my poetry, please? Lol

Great poem. Your word choice was impressive, I liked how you kept using liquid. Good job.
