...Her InsecuritiesA Poem by MaySmallzA short poem about a young girl who got mocked and taunted for her looks until she broke free and past her insecurities
She carried her insecurities like a scar
She didn't want any of it but she was stuck The world didn't make it any easier They all mocked and jeered,Poor Her Cold scary world, her father warned her about She felt her heart could carry her with no doubt Her feet would hold her long and firm she thought But when the wind came....it tore at her and pitied her not Poisonous,Venomous attacks, the world threw at her They spared her not,oh..they had no pity on her Like knives and blades, they cut deeply She watched herself bleed and she cried daily Then one day, dawn came on a different note She had drowned, now she's been washed out,now she's finally ashore She tossed her hair in a bun,had a cup of ice And stepped out wearing all shades of fiery Storming into the crowd with blazing eyes that spoke volumes She wasn't going to be stopped no more The world had buried her Now,she's back,Now they're in shock How do I tell them they had buried a SEED? © 2017 MaySmallzAuthor's Note
