Northern SkiesA Poem by A. L. Z.Older even... Needs work
Maybe you will see my hearts glow there
i lost it somehow somewhere light from where Gods beauty shown never forced, or weak was it seen no jump or burst ever fake or fraud no smiles are ever so true as the ones born of believers, in fresh hope childlike it is, the demeanor and heart of Gods own people Stars they are to see, Beautiful and somehow far away, yet so much ever here, Where did this go? this eminating glow? once my heart held it so dear, but ever in the wake of the dreadful worlds quake thorns grew up, the glow fell shallow, i saw it run across the ground, but being a plant, my roots are held fast Where did the light go? in the evening, that evening i saw in the quake, a Northern awesome glow Perhaps back home? My lost glory flown? no matter how i try it will not come, so now today, i give up this way, But see it not go, So i throw my hands aside, Let God be my guide! im lost! Even when found! What a surprise! I guess its what they meant when they said A candle aught be shown, that light will not have flown, So I render to my guide, Every ounce of pride, He gently tells my soul, "rekindle, make her whole..." © 2010 A.
