A virgin kiss

A virgin kiss

A Poem by Maxwell Ryder

Where were you?
You let me go
Seasons pass,
With another
You eloped.
Our season returns,
I watch the snow
Icing oaks,
Then you shake
Me awake,
As I look you
Rock down,
Alight, angelic white,
Dressed in
Your snowflake,
Landed on my nose,
A virgin kiss
Watering my soul.

I appreciate the thoughts within this one. Went well with coffee and this morning's sleet.
