Old Duke Philip

Old Duke Philip

A Poem by Maxwell Ryder

Did Old Duke
Philip
Roll his SUV
Just to get
One for free?
Range Rover,
Range Rover,
Roll me right over!
“Is the Stella safe,
Jeeves -
I can’t feel my feet”
Stay seated,
Your Majesty
I’ll sweet talk
The bobbies,
We can still make
It for high tea
With the Queen,
All you have
to do is
breathe.
