Guys, you have tear ducts

Guys, you have tear ducts

A Poem by Maxwell Ryder

Guys,
you have tear ducts, too;
they aren't vestigial organs
only found in women,
used during menses
in a battle of the sexes;
you don't have to play
them like violins,
but water the flowers
from time to time;
preferably seasonally,
or else she'll lay
mums on your graves,
shedding her crocodile
tears on the way
to make a withdrawal
from the bank;
she may even bring
round her new victim,
and lie that she prays
for a sugar daddy
who left her on the
altar of sexual depravity.

Or write your epitaph now:
Don't do it! I did, and look
at the state I'm in.
