I like the selections you chose to include in your poem. All are fitting, yet some are surprising, too. Needless to say, “taking a knee” has been distorted into something done with bad intention. Fox news airs fake footage of the Eagles taking a knee to actually pray (since they never did it during the national anthem). I am following the story( NFL players protest) on international news medias. Our news services here cover only political and ecological issues and social issues of other countries they don't concern themselves much. Even though taking a knee has become a political issue now in USA.

That seems to be a theme of everyone’s news around the world now. Show the corruption and events of other countries to give cover for improprieties at home. America was doing this for a long time. They would talk about every other countries problems but their own. Now with alternative media they have to face the facts. No more getting to blame Russia, China, Brazil etc. They must face their own demons.
