Through the haze of man’s
Coal-fired smokestacks,
I saw one star peering
through to humanity’s
Darkened world, and I
Sensed it wanted to put
On a show again, but lost
were its peers. Instead,
It cried out in soliloquy
Till dawn cast it beyond
The folly of our greed.

Sometimes it's harder to come up with a title to a poem than writing it itself. Untitled is nice and works in my book. Your lines are nice and tight. Very visual wording on the folly of industrialization. Sorry bro, I feel like I'm lacking in the reviewing department lately, but man I really like this one. It's good work.

This little poem I enjoyed. That solitary star peeping through the coal fired smokestacks is very visual. One on its own quite unusual, says alot about the pollution. Lasting all night until dawn and then gone. Nicely done, created a feeling of loneliness.
