Floral print bedspread
Leftover manspread
Ring around the toilet
No flat screen tv,
Walls burnt orange
Floor burgundy red
Ashtray on the parapet,
I feel ready to make
Porn on this motel bed,
I'm sure there's a
Voyeur up late as
The exhibit in his
Hotel museum strips
To shower and sleep.

Whoa. I read this 3 times and I'm still not sure what to think. I mean that in a good way. In one reading it's sort of carnal. In another, it reads like a scientific observation. What great poetry to marry the two and blur the lines. I feel like I've been in this room before. Was this a snapshot of a place you have been? If so, I'd love to read more about why you were there, where you were heading, what caused you to be in this place, and how did it change you? Super cool.
